Welcome to the 7th day of 7 Days of Hope Blog Tour hosted by SawyerMarie @ Sundrop Girls and Abby Elissa @ Abby Elissa’s Writings! I am so honored and thrilled to be a part of this wonderful tour with all these amazing ladies!

“These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”
John 16:33
“No matter what our circumstances look like right now, no matter what this ends up like, who is the God we serve? He is good. He loves us. He’s in control and we don’t have to understand everything because He does. He’s given us this incredible weapon of worship and when we shift our eyes from our problem to Him there is power.” – Lydia Laird
I love this song. In whatever we’re going through, we can still lift our hands and cry Hallelujah, even if our hearts are breaking, even if we just want to weep. “In the middle of the in between. In the middle of the questioning. Over every worry, every fear. Hallelujah, even here.” When we worship Him, when we get our eyes off what’s going on around us or to us, He meets us right where we are and lifts us up. Our situation may not change, but our attitude, our feelings do. This is the God we serve. We can have hope even when the world says there is no hope.

AMEN!!! Isn’t it beautiful how, no matter how hard life is or how much darkness covers the world, we ALWAYS have God’s blessed hope to cling to. And I love how you pointed out worshipping Him takes our eyes off the hardships and puts our focus back on Him. Yes, yes, yes! Thank you for sharing this wonderful message! ❤

So much yes to all of this!!! He is so good. Even in the darkness of this world, His hope shines like a beacon for those who will look to Him. And like with a light, when you focus on Him, all else fades away until all you see is the Light. ❤

What a beautiful post on hope in Christ! And hope is most needed when we’re “in the inbetween”, when we need direction, when we’re waiting, when we just don’t know what’s ahead of us.

Thank you! It really is, sometimes the hardest time to have hope is when we feel like nothing is happening, nothing is changing. Thanks for stopping by!

Jen, I LOOVED THIS POST!!!!!!! I know I’m a bit late, but I honestly found a lot of inspiration even though it was short. I really needed this today. God’s been teaching me a lot about faith, trust, and hope, and it’s honestly like just about every blog post I read nowadays that are devotional in some way are about those topics. So anyways, it’s just been a really inspiring and impactful journey, God’s got me on. THANK YOU SOO MUCH for sharing!!
