(If you don’t know what a fandom is, it’s basically a group of fans of a particular thing, like Star Wars or Harry Potter.)

The Questions

What’s the first fandom you remember becoming a part of?

I said Disney and fairy tales were technically my first fandom in my last post, but I don’t remember when I first joined. I’m a Disney baby, my earliest memories already include Disney. So, the first one I actually remember joining is Kingdom Hearts. I spoke a LOT about it in my last post, so I won’t repeat myself. But this truly is my longest known fandom, and the one dearest to my heart.

What’s the newest fandom you’ve come to enjoy?

The newest would be The Ascendance Series. *waves at Issabelle* I’m going to be honest, I did call the twist ending by chapter two, but I’m now a good ways into book two and really enjoying it. Sage is quite a character. *grins*

What’s a fandom guaranteed to give you feels?

Oh, goodness, there’s actually several fandoms that give me all the feels. Narnia, Lord of the Rings/Hobbit (I’ll be honest, I’ve watched the movies more than I’ve read the books. *hides*), Star Wars, The Wingfeather Saga, and I’ll stop listing them before I just go ahead and list most every fandom I’m in. However, the fandom that gives me the most feels is Kingdom Hearts. *wonders how many of these questions will be answered with Kingdom Hearts*

What’s a guilty pleasure fandom of yours?

I think I’ll answer this question like Jenelle did with the fandom you might not think I’d be part of. I think something y’all might not know I like is Transformers. I’ve never watched the live-action movies, but I grew up watching the Armada, Energon, and Cybertron series (all three are connected, but I have issues with how little Cybertron connects to the first two…). I also really love Transformers Prime. The three above are a bit cheesy and like, come on, 13-year-olds are saving the universe from Unicron (not to be confused with a unicorn. XD) and everyone just… lets… them? And Kicker, the main character from Energon has major, I mean MAJOR, attitude problems throughout the whole series and it’s viewed as “cool”. So yeah, there are some issues with them that I will admit, but still, it’s a fandom very dear to me because of all the memories I have of watching it with my older brother and sister when we were kids. Oh! There’s also Transformers Animated, that one was kind of weird? But my little brother and I enjoyed it. And there’s the original Transformers series that I haven’t watched all of it yet, and also the sequel series to Prime that I can’t for the life of me remember the title of right now…

What’s the weirdest fandom you’ve heard of/are a part of?

Ha! Some of y’all would probably point to the above and say that one. XD There was also a time I was part of the Ben 10 fandom before they went even weirder, I still like the first three series though. The weirdest fandom I’m part of would probably be A Series of Unfortunate Events. I love that series, but it is SO weird! In a good way! I’m actually due for a reread soon. *grins* Another weird one would probably be Phineas and Ferb, but I love it so much! Oh! And there’s also Milo Murphy, which is made by the creators of Phineas and Ferb and set in the same world, same city, er, tri-state area. I’m also going to admit right now that some of KH gets pretty weird too, but I love it. *happy sigh*

Favorite popular/widely-known fandom?

Hard one. I like several popular ones. This is a serious tie between Lord of the Rings/Hobbit, Star Wars, and Marvel.

Favorite bookish fandom?

The Lunar Chronicles!!! The Inkworld series! (Inkheart/spell/death by Cornelia Funke) The Inheritance Cycle! King’s Warrior! These are a tie because TLC is my newest bookish obsession, Inkworld is something I’ve loved for years, and THC and King’s Warrior because they both helped set me on my writing path.

What do you consider your ‘homebase’, a fandom you can always come back to?

Kingdom Hearts!!! You probably saw that coming. XD KH will always be my ultimate fandom, especially since Disney is known for acquiring everyone else and eventually all my fandoms will be in KH (like Marvel, Star Wars, and such XD). But on a more serious note, Kingdome Hearts feels like home, it’s my go-to comfort fandom.

What’s a fandom you know all about…but aren’t actually into it?

Hmmm… I need to think on this… Ah! The Lego Movie. I’ll admit that it’s kind of cute and funny, and my siblings love it to pieces, but I just… don’t? I don’t really want to talk bad about a fandom other people love that I just find mildly annoying, so we’ll just move on.

Which fandom has the best characters?

Kingdom Hearts! But Lunar Chronicles also has amazing characters. Aargh! I can’t pick! Sentimentality and loyalty say KH (which does indeed have AMAZING characters) but TLC has such awesome characters too. Alright, book-wise is TLC, video game-wise is KH. 😉

Name your all-time favorite ship.

My all-time favorite ship is Sora and Kairi, they were also my first ship too. ^_^

What’s a fandom you’re curious about joining?

Avatar: The Last Airbender! BBC Merlin! Studio Ghibli! Doctor Who! Once Upon a Time! Keepers of the Lost City! Okay, I’ll stop here, there are sooo many fandoms I keep meaning to get around to.
