We’re just going to ignore the fact on how late this post is and simply enjoy that I’m actually posting on a Monday again. ;p

What’s been the best part about your day today?

Currently having a snuggle party with my sister’s dog! She’s curled up in my lap as I type. ^_^ She’s such a sweet little floof ball!

Most anticipated book or movie release of 2021?

*goes off to check what’s supposed to come out because I hardly ever keep up with such things* ………..”We are sorry to announce that Jen has ironically drowned in the vast amount of books coming out in the new year. Please send your condolences in book form to increase the irony.” XD I am literally stunned by how many are coming out. Oh! A book that’s supposed to publish in 2021 is Dust’s sequel Shadow! I’m excited for that! 😀

I also looked into the upcoming movies and wow! Lots of Marvel movies! Boss Baby 2! Sing 2! I’m interested in the Cruella movie. Oooh! Jungle Cruise looks like it’s gonna be FUN. Dwayne Johnson is one of my favourite actors, anyone seen Game Plan or Tooth Fairy? Raya and the Last Dragon sounds amazing! And I’ll stop here because there’s just so many I want to squeal about! Spider-man 3! Black Widow! And I’m not even going to go into the few I saw coming out in 2022! Eeep!

Current favorite song?

Oooh, tough question because I literally have a song running through my head almost all the time. I pretty much think in song lyrics. XD Sooo. It doesn’t say all-time favourite, so I’ll go with “Speechless”. It’s such a beautiful song. And now it’s stuck in my head, lol, not that I’m complaining. XD

What’s something that surprised you about blogging?

How very badly I missed it during my hiatus. I love blogging, but I didn’t think I would become this attached. I’d say that’s because of my wonderful group of followers! You guys make blogging so much fun! <333

What drives you to get out of bed in the morning?

The siblings I share a room with? XD Kidding, only mostly. ;p I think this question is asking what is my passion, well, first of all, Jesus is my passion, but secondly is my stories. I always have a story on my mind, it interchanges with the songs, and I love spending time with my characters and telling their stories.

Chocolate or caramel?

Both. If we’re talking candy, chocolate. If we’re talking coffee, caramel. Every time I try chocolate coffee it always tastes off, like bad off-brand chocolate. I’ve even tried just putting in Hershey’s syrup and it still doesn’t work. Chocolate coffee me no likey. Caramel coffee is my go-to Dunkin’ run. 🙂

A book that changed your life?

The Bible. I would not be the person I am today without it. Though, since I’m a Christian this is kind of obvious, so I’ll share a second book.

Another book that changed my life would be Ella Enchanted. I believe it was my first introduction to the realm of fantasy, at least bookwise, and started my lifelong love of all things speculative fiction. I would not be the writer I am today without it. Ella and Char will always be among my top OTPs. Also, embarrassing tidbit, I never realized it was a Cinderella retelling until I was in my early teens. I’d never heard of retellings before, in my naivety I thought Disney created all those stories. >_> Eheheh… 🙈🤦‍♀️

Describe your ideal day.

My ideal day would be to wake up in a beach house and spend the entire day writing and reading on the balcony overlooking the ocean, with frequent breaks to grab a body board and ride the waves. 😉

If you could delete any food from existence, what would it be and why?

Heheh, I’d say mayonnaise except I like certain foods made with it like Egg Salad. And I’d say tomatoes but I like ketchup and pizza sauce. Hmmm… I’m a picky eater, but this is harder than I thought it would be. Let’s go with black licorice because it tastes nasty. (No offense to those who like it. 😉 )

Least favorite social media platform?

No clue because I’m very new to social media. I guess my least favourite platform would be Tik Tok due to the scary things I’ve heard about it. O.o
